Community representatives have called on the government to ban a rally in London by far-right extremists.
A post sent from a Twitter account of the New Dawn Party suggests that its members are planning a demonstraton targeting the Jewish community in Golders Green on July 4.
The organisers are thought to be the same group that staged a small rally against the Charedi community in Stamford Hill earlier this year. They included white supremicist Joshua Bonehill-Paine.
Mark Gardner, director of communications at the Community Security Trust, said that his organisation was "fully aware of this explicitly antisemitic demonstration", and has discussed it in recent weeks with police and government.
The Board of Deputies said the people behind the rally were "clearly intent on making a provocative, explicitly antisemitic gesture".
The Board said it had asked Home Secretary Theresa May to prevent the rally happening or move its location.
Local Tory MP Mike Freer said he had asked the Home Office to ban the event. He said: "The rally is not about free speech but a deliberate attempt to provoke tension and antisemitism".
