Drake had his arms full after scooping a record 13 wins at the Billboard Music Awards.

The Jewish-Canadian rapper, who had received 22 nominations, won in categories including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Album.

He dedicated awards to “all the managers, the engineers, the fans”, during the ceremony, which was held in Las Vegas, before performing inside the fountain display at the Bellagio casino.

Adele had previously held the record for the most wins; the singer won 12 awards in 2012. But Drake, referencing the British star, said he was confident she’d regain the record “when a new ting drops”.

This was not the only record Drake holds. Tuesday marked the eighth anniversary since the singer charted with “Best I Ever Had” – and he has not been out of Billboard 100 charts since, with over 150 of his songs charting in that 420 week period.

No other star comes close to his record of consecutive weeks in the charts, with Lil Wayne, second on the list, coming in at 326 weeks.
