JC GOAL OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
ARON GALE (North London Raiders) - an exceptional counter-attack. The ball was played out wide to Liron Mannie who twisted and turned before putting the full-back on his backside and sending in a delicious cross for Gale to power home the header
MATT WARNER (North London Raiders) - 30-yard free-kick. Immense swerve a dip. We will let Tony Incenzo’s video of the goal decide wether it was a worldie or OG!
DANIEL GARFINKLE (Club de Chigwell) - GOAL 1 - Saul Green controlled a great ball to lay off Garfinkle who, on the spin, unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner from outside of the box
JAMES MILLET (Hertswood Vale) - think Salah and Trent against Chelsea. Jordan Harris rolled the ball back perfectly into the path of Millet who bent the ball into the far corner, leaving the keeper with literally no chance
-----------------------
JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
GIDEON RABSTEIN (Faithfold DocMM White) - the ball flashed across the box from right to left and the Oakwood player hit the ball back the other way towards the top right corner, Rabstein running left managed to switch momentum, dive back and tip the shot over with his top hand
ADAM ZAIDMAN (Hertswood Vale) - brilliant save to keep out Matt Warner's free-kick

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
SIMON LINDEN (Temple Fortune) - "Half the squad not available which meant a lot of changes - it says a lot these days when I have to put myself on the pitch!"
GIDEON GALE (North London Raiders) - "Top at Chanukah, unbeaten and in the quarter-finals of the Cyril Anekstein Cup is not a bad start, but we know we are capable of performing even better. Credit to Vale who gave us a good game and will rival Galaxy/Jewdinese for that second spot. All in all, having beaten jewdinese/vale and drawing with Galaxy, a brilliant first half and we look forward to the second half of the season!"
JACOB EMANUEL (Hertswood Vale) - QUOTE 1 - "Liron Mannie, Jordan Nathan and Matt Warner were different gravy today and if you can keep the three of them quiet, you’ve got a great chance to beat this Raiders team. Liron Mannie ran the game throughout, and he took his goal well"
JACOB EMANUEL (Hertswood Vale) - QUOTE 2 - "2019 has been a great year, and we look forward to a successful 2020"
AVI MARKIEWICZ (Faithfold DocMM White) - "I'm really pleased with my boys though. Up to third, two points off the top at the winter break is a really excellent position to be in for us and something we are really proud of"

Triumphant Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "Credit to Oakwood, who played for more than a half with ten men and stayed close. I'm really pleased with my boys though. Up to third, two points off the top at the winter break is a really excellent position to be in for us and something we are really proud of."
Brad Wine was on target for the home side. Oakwood Director of Football Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "We battled very well in the circumstances but when you have more than ten players away, you don’t give yourself much chance of winning a football match."

Fortune's other strike came through an own goal as they consolidated third position with their sixth league win of the season.
Jubilant Fortune boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a very important win; half the squad not available which meant a lot of changes - it says a lot these days when I have to put myself on the pitch! I'm proud of all the boys - it wasn’t easy but when you have a hungry striker like Danny Sherman you have always got a chance and he scored two goals out of nothing to win us the game."

CLUB de CHIGWELL 4 PARIS SAINT JEWMAIN 3
DANIEL GARFINKLE was the hat-trick hero as Club de Chigwell returned to winnning ways after a seven-goal thriller against PSJ.
Harrison Grant was CdC's other scorers at 7 Kings. Co-manager James Rose told JC Sport: "It wasn’t the prettiest performance from us today but it was a professional one with every single player digging deep to get the three points. We are now looking forward to the Chanukah break and will look to continue our winning run next year."
PSJ's goals came via Amit Shabtai and Josh Cohen. PSJ boss Elio Elia told JC Sport: "I can't fault the boys for their effort and performance, especially in the second half - they played well, created some great chances and were ultimately a bit unlucky on the day. Full credit to Chigwell, however, as they defended well and punished us for our errors - they're a good side and we wish them well for the season."
