Local Labour MPs Louise Ellman and Luciana Berger were star attractions at Sunday's Liverpool Limmud at the new King David campus.
The 400-plus turnout had the choice of more than 40 adult sessions and a further 15 for young people.
Mrs Ellman discussed making Israel's case in Parliament, Ms Berger spoke about her experiences as a young, female, Jewish MP.

Liverpool Limmud co-chair Eric Cohen said the King David campus had been chosen as the Limmud venue to show the wider community how proud they were of their new school buildings.
