Fauda star to leave hit show after Gaza injury

Beginning his career as a singer, with six studio albums, as well as appearing on the Kochav Nolad reality show, he joined the cast of Fauda in 2017.

His character, undercover agent Sagi Tzur, was a core member of the featured Mista'arvim unit and foil to Lior Raz’s Doron.

The popular thriller, which premiered in 2014 and is available on Netflix, is currently marking its 10th anniversary.

It was not immediately clear if the producers would kill off his character or if another storyline justification for his disappearance will be thought up.

Amedi, meanwhile, now hopes to focus on his music career once he has recovered from his injuries.
