In the heart of a tropical paradise, we are seated in an intimate booth of an exquisite Asian restaurant savouring some of the best sushi we have ever tasted. Can life get much better? Not if your dream holiday is a luxury bolthole not too far from the madding crowds.

No more than a ten minute drive from the airport, the resort is located in a secluded part of the south-eastern Barbados coast.

In a rugged cliff-top setting above a quiet beach, it is a vast property, with restaurants, shops, pools and some quiet and picturesque grounds to wander. There is more than a nod to history with one building dating back to 1790, another structure redolent of a Roman ruin and antique furniture in the rooms, most of which are ocean view.

Our accommodation is spacious, airy, with a generously sized balcony and a well-appointed kitchen giving guests a self-catering option.
