Wingate & Finchley will be part of an anti-discrimination message next week as the Ryman League embarks on a weekend-long drive to support Kick It Out.

The club’s match at home to Thurrock has been moved to 1pm on March 10 as part of an initiative involving non-league clubs.

The Summers Lane club was specifically selected for involvement as the Premier Division representative following their continued work in the community, and they have invited players from any Maccabi men’s or Primary League teams on an admission-free basis.

Community Development manager Mike Bayly said: “Wingate & Finchley FC is proud of its Anglo-Jewish roots, and has been at the forefront of promoting inclusive football for people of all ages, regardless of background or ability.
