London Lions returned to the top six of the Hertfordshire Senior County League Premier Division after hammering fourth-placed Whitewebbs 5-1.

Adam Stolerman scored his 19th and 20th of the season, Lee Cash added two and player-manager Tony Gold was on target in a display of breathtaking football.

Lions finished with 10 men after captain Rob Glass was sent-off following a two-footed tackle. Guy Morris needed hospital treatment after an accidental elbow to the eye.

Richard Baum (2) and Daniel Reuben were not enough to give London Lions reserves victory as they let slip a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 against Bovingdon Reserves in the Herts Senior County Reserve Division One. Declan Green, 16, made his Lions debut.

A goal from Benji Cowen earned London Maccabi Lions Under Eight’s a 1-1 draw at Everett Rovers in the Watford Friendly League White Division.
