New signing Leor Sidle inspired AFC Flixton to an opening-day cruise over Deloitte.

Sidle, among six summer arrivals, struck twice as the newly-promoted side kicked off life in the Premier Division in style.

Rafi Leeker (2), Adam Wilson, Adam Gilman and BK were also on target in this rout.

Joint manager Tony Rosenberg said: "You couldn’t have asked for a better start. Once we found our momentum there was no stopping us.

"It sets the tone for the rest of the season. There will be tougher tests ahead but you can only beat what’s in front of you."

Sidle follows Mike Sacks, Adam Gilman, Oshri Amar, Marcus Oldsberg and Adam Stephens in joining AFC Flixton.

Rosenberg added: "We feel we have a good blend of players. There’s also individuals to come back so that bodes well for us as the season progresses."
