An excellent knock from Zac Summerfield helped London Maccabi Vale Under 11s win their second game in a row as they overcame Mill Hill Village by seven wickets.

Captain Alex Davidson decision to bowl first was rewarded as Benjamin Jayes (3-20) and Joseph Bentley claiming five wickets between them.

LMV's performance in the field was much improved on the last performance with Nathan Wise and Summerfield showing great agility in the outfield. There was also one brilliant stop by Sam Goodman, which not only saved three runs, but which also led to a run out.

LMV's reply got off to a bad start as they lost three early wickets. But Summerfield (36 not out) and Noah Sugarman put together a match-winning partnership. These added 51 in only five overs, with Summerfield hitting six boundaries. A first-ever six hit by a LMV Under 11 was the icing on the cake.
