GARSTON VETS LEAGUE

SPORTING LONDON 0 MLFC LIONS 5

MLFC opened the scoring after 15 minutes when a shot from Paul Hakim found fell into the path of Steve Summers who flicked the ball to Daniel Stanton who fired home.

Hakim doubled the lead with a cheeky lob  from 20 yards which left the Sporting goalkeeper stranded.

Lions added their third goal in the second half when Hakim’s shot was parried and Max Radford was on hand to slot home the rebound.

Stanton scored his second and MLFC’s fourth with a right-footed effort into the bottom corner before the scoring was rounded off by midfielder Craig Pearl who held off his man and finished well following more good work by  Summers.
