A penalty from Jonathan Peters plus one apiece from Josh Sheridan and Josh Flax earned Scrabble FC their ninth straight win as they extended their perfect run on a windy day at Willesden.
Faithfold, attempting to be the latest side to end Scrabble's run, started well and Scrabble were forced to defend in the opening minutes but on 15 minutes Elliot Espinoza was fouled in the area and Peters made no mistake from the penalty spot to put Scrabble 1-0 up.
Scrabble were now taking control and their slick passing game was proving to be more effective than the long ball tactics being used by Faithfold who were playing into the wind.
The second half was only five minutes old when a quickly taken corner in a move straight off the training ground by Zak McLeod saw Josh Sheridan race into the box to put the Scrabble boys 2-0 up.
Faithfold had their chances in a game played in the right spirit by both sides but on 60 minutes Flax finished from within a crowd of players in the area to put the game out of Faithfold's reach.
However the Faithfold boys were not giving up and 15 minutes from time they scored through Leor Harel to give Scrabble a nervy last period and in fact the Faithfold striker fired over after a good assist and squandered the chance to make it 3-2.
Scrabble used all three of their subs in a bid to relieve the pressure at the end of the game to make it five wins on the bounce at Willesden to move five points at the top of the table.
Delighted Scrabble FC boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "The boys played some slick stuff today and our pressing passing game moved up another notch.
"We've kept our composure today and looked like we were never really in danger of losing the game but Faithfold are a good side and a credit to the league and made things difficult for us at times.
"We have to learn to cope with the pressure that teams will try and put us under to stop our amazing run in this league."
Faithfold manager Rob Shooman told JC Sport: "I have to say it was a good match played in the right spirit and exceedingly well refereed.
"The wind made it very difficult for both sides but the best team on the day won, although two of their goals came from set-plays and the other was a penalty, we scored the only goal from open play.
"We're looking forward to our home game - two teams who wanted to play football. Well done to them."
