A captain’s innings from Joel Sager helped BESCC secure their second victory after beating Barnet Synagogue in the latest Inter-Synagogue friendly.

Two early wickets from Phil Lassman soon had Barnet on the back foot. Tight spells from Jamie Kaye and Freedman kept Barnet in check and after two well executed run-outs, Barnet were dismissed for 113.

BESCC overcame the early losses of Freedman and Turek. Wobbling at 18-3, Sager carried his bat, despite not having played since last August, to make 47 not out as BESCC eased home with four overs to spare.
