It was another good day at the office for Michael Sacks’ Manchester Maccabi team as they hit six for the second consecutive week, without reply.

Sacks’ yellow and blue army had to withstand some pressure in the opening 20 minutes, with goalkeeper Jack Showman making a couple of important saves.
Maccabi started passing the ball quicker along the (long) grass but broke the deadlock through some good old fashioned, more direct play.
Showman kicked the ball long, Sam Hatton won the flick on and Toby Levy drove into the penalty area, before being wiped out. Sacks stepped up – 1-0 Maccabi.
Soon after it was two, after some great defensive work by Jake Kelly ended in a Louie Basso tap in.
Sacks made it three, once more from the spot, after good work from Hatton again.
Maccabi started showing some arrogance in the second half, playing with some swagger and keeping the ball for longer spells. Their dominance was rewarded through talisman Hatton, slotting home to make it four.
Jacob Huller came off the bench to grab his first goal of the season, before Hatton completed the scoring to make it six.
Maccabi player-manager Michael Sacks praised his boys for another dominant display: "I’m delighted with the boys, again, for being solid at the back and clinical up top. Don’t get me wrong, we could have and should have scored more, but at this stage in the season, getting into those positions is extremely positive.
“We have a big squad and players are finding themselves disappointed week in, week out – which is exactly the atmosphere we want. Young Jacob Huller came off the bench and put the disappointment of not starting behind him, working hard and grabbing his goal.
“We know that every week is a must-win and if we keep working hard on the training pitch, we know that we’re a tough to beat and we’ll challenge on all five fronts.”
