Reich Insurance off to a flying start under Rosenberg and Delmonte

"It's not our club. We are not taking over the team but looking to progress a good and well run club.

"We thought it was the right club for us. There were a few options but his was the best for us."

Reich have taken five players from Flixton in total and will be trained by former Football League striker Danny Nardeillo.

Rosenberg added: "We were delighted to hit the ground running.

"The aim is to always win the league. Why shouldn't we set the bar high?"

There is also a new name at HAROLDEANS with Mike Bloomberg taking the reigns at the Liverpool-based clubs.

But there remains some uncertainty over who will be taking charge of defending champions OAKHILL LIONS after Daniel Rabinowitz stood down.

LEEDS MACCABI, who were pipped by the student side last season, will fancy reclaiming the title they lost this season.

Jamie Warner's men will once again be among the front-runners.

Last season's bottom placed side South Manchester Sports Club 3rd were defeated 9-5 by Maccabi Manchester Yellow in the only other weekend game.

Anton Radiven, who led the Yellows to third place last season, knows he has his work cut out to mastermind a repeat.

He said: "I think we caught some teams cold. But we were organised where our blend of young and old players bore fruit.

"We we hopeful of another strong season."

Midweek fixtures on 3G artificial surfaces will be introduced full-time to take the pressure away on small squads from facing a fixture backlog when the weather deteriorates.

But that has not failed to stop Heaton Park Rovers from opting out.

HPR struggled with numbers last term but there will still be nine teams with the formation of PRESTFIELD.

Zac Marks leads the new club and he has ambitious plans.

He said: "We want to win the league. That's what every team sets out to do but we think it's a realistic target.

"Our players have experience of paying at this level."

SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS CLUB 2nd lifted Harold Feldman Trophy and Tony Cohen Cup last term but need consistently to challenge for league honours.

Boss Marc Magid said: "The two cup wins will boost our confidence.

"But it's about transforming that momentum into our league form."

Prospects: Always consistent performers. And with an old head in Bloomberg has taken the reigns, the Merseysiders will fancy another tilt at the top.
