Prestfield withdrawal confirmed from MJSL

The Manchester Jewish Soccer League title race has taken a fresh twist following the withdrawal of Prestfield.

With Prestfield disbanding, their four league games have been wiped from the records.

And that means Sedgley Park Celtic, who won 12-1 earlier this season, have now dropped off the top and into second in the table.

Zac Marks’ side needed to have played 75 per cent of their games for their records to stand.

But they played only a quarter, meaning their results have been expunged.
