Tenth seed Shahar Peer cruised into the second round of the Australian Open with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Mathilde Johansson (103) of France.
After losing the first game and nearly losing her serve in the second game, Peer dominated to win six straight games and take the first set in 34 minutes.
It took another 28 minutes to win the second set by the same margin.
Dudi Sela (92) lost in straight sets 6-7, 4-6, 4-6 in the first round against Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro.
