Pearl Wanderers continued their domination in the Plate division of the Israel Night Cricket League by pulling off a memorable victory over Pommeranz Juice Good Old Boys.
PWCC won the toss and registered 97 as the PJGOB fielding and bowling unit impressed.
Needing 17 runs with four overs remaining, the PJGOB's last pair struggled as a brilliant run-out by Danny Brill and then some tight bowling enabled that PWCC lift the Plate league in the seasons first year.
The Night League has been a huge success in Israel and has enabled many regulars and newcomers, who cannot spend a whole or half a day, the opportunity to play cricket.
