DANNY CARO'S SAVE OF THE WEEK
DEAN CAPLIN (Oakwood B) - made a save against Brady that has to be seen to be believed. Quite possibly the best save Jason Stein has seen at Sunday league level to deny Joey Lazare with his feet in a one-on-one situation with the score at 1-1. Schmeichel-esque and only wish the cameras were filming!

JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. ELIO ELIA (Boca Jewniors) - a lovely effort against Hendon B
2. BRAD WINE - an unbelievable thunder-bolt from 30 yards into the top corner. You will not see a better goal in any game this weekend
3.BEN BLACKSTON (Hendon Utd SC B) - smashed home an 18-yard piledriver into the top corner with his weaker right foot, also opening his account for the club
4.JAKE SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - Jake Saunders about 25 yards out and he hit it first time. You could see from the way he hit it he caught it perfectly and the ball flew into the top corner leaving the keeper routed to the spot. It was a moment of individual brilliance and has to win GOTW!
5.THEO AZOUZ (ML Lions B) - received the ball, letting it roll across him, and then rifled a shot from 25 yards out of the goalkeeper's reach and into the net
6. JAMES LAW (Real Sosobad) - 91st minute of the game, a pin-point long ball forward from Joe Grant was met by James Law on the right hand side of the box, who controlled it with his first touch and unleashed a rocket in to the top corner with his second. A deserved winning goal at any level
7.ED GREEN (Athletic Bilbaum) - Daniel Goldhill slid in on the right to win the ball cleanly. Emerging with the ball, he played a weighted pass into space behind the full-back for Ben Nachoom to run on to before rounding his man, taking the ball to the by line and whipping in a delightful deep cross, towards the back post, leaving Ed Green to rise high and head home into the top left corner
8.JOHNATHAN MELTZER (ML Lions A) - "Let’s not take anything away from Redbridge they look like a superb outfit with full of ambition"
9. DARREN BLOOM (Faithfold B) - right-back Darren Bloom started the move with a pass inside to forward Ben Zloof who held it up and laid it off to Jason Shofman who beat a man before releasing it into the path of Bloom who had continued his run from right back and hit a 25-yard screamer with the out side of his boot in to the bottom corner leaving the Spec keeper with no chance
10. DAN GREEN (Harmen) - with the ball played in from the wing, James Gershfield took one touch and smashed it against the bar. Goal-line technology would have helped here but as the ball bounced it, it was cleared by the Hendon defence and the ball fell to Green who hit it on the volley from 20 yards out with a crisp finish into the bottom left corner

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. SIMON LINDEN (Blizzard Storm) - "Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "I can't be disappointed with our effort this morning. I had four key players injured and another five away. The youngsters that came into today did well and it gives me great confidence in my squad for the season"
2. DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - ""I thought the ref did exceptionally well in the circumstances to keep things just about under control as it looked like they'd been watching a little bit too much of the Rugby World Cup"
3.JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 1 - "Today was a really good game between two determined sides. I'm big enough to admit we are perhaps a tad fortunate to come away with a point given Brady had plenty of second half opportunities"
4. JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 2 - "It's always testing to come up against a side with a Northerner of their own and it's a reminder that there are a few talented lads down here not signed with the Oaks. And after watching him play today I can tell you Joey Lazare is welcome to join his compatriots whenever he likes"
5. JOEY LAZARE (Brady Maccabi) - "I'm very happy to be part of this Brady squad. When I spoke to the gaffer in June, he sold me the Brady project and I have no interest in leaving. I’d like to wish Oakwood well for the rest of the season but unfortunately the only other time their fans will see me this season is when I kiss the Brady badge in the return leg later in the season"
6.ADAM GLEKIN (Hendon B) - "It was far from vintage today, but we'll take the win. As the old cliche goes, there's no easy games in Jewish football!"
7.ADAM GLEKIN (Hendon B) - "Next week is a big game against Real Hendon and we'll need to step it up - but I'm sure the sight of seeing Chaim Strom in their line-up will fire a few of the lads up!"
8.DAN LIPMAN (Real Sosobad) - "The winning goal from James Law was good enough to win any game and the celebration put Giggsy's (less the hairy chest) to shame"

GREEN HALTS HENDON
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A 1 HARMEN 1
A strike from Dan Green scored the goal that ended Hendon's perfect start to the season as Harmen claimed a share of the spoils in the Hadley FC derby.
Team Maccabi GB star Yoav Kestenbaum found the net for Hendon against a Harmen team who played much of the game with 10 men.
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "We came away very disappointed not to pick up all three points today, but when all is said and done a point is not a disaster - we remain unbeaten and we have to accept the draw with grace and move on."
Harmen joint-manager Joe Marsh told JC Sport: "With 10 men for the majority of the game, the boys defended extremely well as a unit and we deserved to take all three points with a number of clear cut chances in the last 10 minutes of the game."
