JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. MICHAEL WARWICK (AFC Flixton) - stunning free-kick in PMT semi against Harmen
2. JAMES NEIDLE (Hendon B) - surely one of the best strikes in the MGBSFL this season. The centre back had edged forward and the ball fell to him around 35 yards from goal. He took a touch and then unleashed an absolute crackerjack right into the top corner, the KS keeper didn't even move
3. SAM SOLLOSI (Redbridge A) - scored a 30-yard thunderbolt straight after half time to make it 4-0 against FC Team
4. CRAIG SANFORD (Redbridge A) - bent a beautiful finish into the corner
5. ADAM SHAFRON (Redbridge A) - scored the goal of the game following a fine run from defence before playing a great one-two with Sam Sollosi and slotted into the goal for goal number six
6. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - a magnificent team goal – 20-pass move from back to front ending with the ball played wide to the brilliant Korman who unleashed an unstoppable first time drive into the bottom corner
7. DOVI FEHLER (Hendon A) - one of the passes of the season from Dave Seitler who split Lions defence in two in setting up Dovi who finished brilliantly beyond the onrushing keeper. Triple back flip celebration followed
8. DAN ANDREWS (NW Neasden) - scored a fantastic goal where he won the ball in the NWN box, exchanged passes with three players and beat the keeper with an angled drive

DAN FINEGOLD (L'Equipe) - normally our right winger - went in for the second third of the game and kept us 3-2 up with a superb one handed save down to his left to push it out for a corner.

1. DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - QUOTE 1 - "As far as the Cup Final is concerned – Stuart Delmonte said he wanted us and now he’s got us in what will be a tremendous North versus South shoot out at Oldham. Up the South – we’re coming to get you!"

DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - QUOTE 2 - "Our motivation for this match was huge – despite two trebles in three years, Hendon players are constantly overlooked for National tournaments in favour of others and today the incentive, as well as getting to the cup final, was to show that some of these boys definitely deserve far more recognition than they get"

6. JONATHAN ISON (Los Blancos) - QUOTE 1 - "Since the beginning of the season I have been comparing us to Liverpool, and on the day with both teams in their respective semi finals, both were very poor, however, Blancos were able to turn it around in the second half and show what we are made of"
7. JONATHAN ISON (Los Blancos) - QUOTE 2 - "FC Team B are clearly a good team and have had a great season, but we know on our day we are a match for anyone, and we are going to Wingate confident of ending our long wait for silverware!"

Hendon remain on course for the cup double after strikes from Dave Seitler, Avi Korman, Dovi Fehler and an own goal helped them return to winning ways with a crushing victory over Lions Spartan.
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "This was probably our best performance of the season – everything we did wrong a few weeks ago against Raiders we did right today and some of the football we played at times today was truly exceptional."
Lions boss Andy Landesberg told JC Sport: "Hendon United were without question the better team on the day, they were sharper, tougher and far more hungry than we were."
The win sets up a final meeting against Manchester Accountants League champions AFC Flixton at Boundary Park on May 17.

Michael Warwick scored the pick of the goals as AFC Flixton boosted their quadruple hopes with a comfortable win over Harmen at Rowley Lane.
Further strikes from top-scorer Leor Sidle, Adam Gilman and an own goal completed the demolition.
Flixton joint-manager Tony Rosenberg told JC Sport: "Our defence was magnificent and our strikers scored the goals. You can’t ask more than that."
Harmen co-boss Joel Alterman told JC Sport: "We wish Flixton all the best in the rest of their season. They will face a difficult test in Hendon and it is difficult to pick a winner at this stage."

Division Two champions FC Team B will finish the season at Wingate & Finchley after overcoming Division One runners-up Raiders B in extra-time.
Two goals from Ben Binder plus one apiece from Richard Salmon, David Grossman and Andy Sheena steered Team to victory in a nine-goal thriller.
Team boss Mitch Young told JC Sport: "Firstly, congratulations to all my players and everyone involved at the club. To reach our first final at Wingate as a club is a historic moment and I am extremely proud of everyone.
"Secondly, credit must go to Raiders for their performance, what an outstanding game; two very committed well organised clubs giving everything for their team for a place at Wingate.
"The game was very even and either side would have felt unlucky not to win. We had to come back from 0-2 down and then 3-4 down in extra time, this showed unbelievable character, commitment and passion from my players and they deserve all the credit.
"Raiders are a top side and they have only lost a couple of games in two seasons so to progress to the final is a huge achievement and now we are looking to win it and finish the season with the double. Finally the referee had a great game. letting the game flow and got the big decisions right."

GROSS SENDS BLANCOS TO WINGATE

Jeff Gross was the hero for Los Blancos as they completed one of the comebacks of the day to clinch a place in the final at Wingate & Finchley on May 3.
Camden got off to a dream start to lead 2-0 at half-time, but Blancos showed tremendous character to hit back in the second half via Adam Waters (56) and top-scorer Simon Moses, with an 85th-minute penalty, before Gross's stoppage time winner.
Blancos boss Jonathan Ison told JC Sport: "This is the first time since Blancos was established five years ago that we have made it to Wingate, and we are buzzing!"

DAVID DINKIN was the hat-trick hero as Norstar London Raiders A clinched their first-ever MGBSFL Premier Division following a 4-1 demolition of North West Neasden.
Top-scorer Matt Stock also found the net as Raiders sealed the title at the first time of asking, ending Hendon's hopes of retaining the championship.
Dan Andrews registered for NWN.
Jubilant Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "We are delighted and so proud at securing the Premier Division title. It's a dream to win the most coveted prize in Jewish football and is great reward for all the effort, hard work and dedication the entire squad has put in all season."
NWN manager Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "The truth was that we were beaten by a far better team and we were not good enough to break them down. We move on to our next game knowing we need eight points from our remaining four games to survive."

KS Reunited registered their third win of the season as they came away from west Hendon victories after a nail-biter against Hendon B.
Hendon's goals came through Sammy Epstein, a stunner from captain James Neidle and Avi Mocton.
KS boss James Lewis told JC Sport: "It was a happy day for the Gordon family. There was a hat-trick for captain and star Zack, while older brother Josh chipped in with a goal, and the youngest of the trio putting in a man-of-the-match performance between the sticks. We were delighted to get a long overdue win on the board."
Hendon manager Adam Glekin told JC Sport: "We weren't at the races today. The first 20 minutes they wanted it more than we did. We improved and created a hatful of chances, but the goals we conceded were criminal."
