Ofir Marciano has signed a season-long loan deal with Hibernian.
The Israel No. 1 is awaiting a work permit ahead of his move from FC Ashdod.
Marciano, 26, played in goal for Israel throughout the failed Euro 2016 qualifying campaign and has previously played for Royal Excel Mouscron.
He said: "I am very happy to be in Scotland. I have had a look at the stadium today and am very excited about coming here and playing in front of the fans.
"I know the club's ambitions. There’s an expectation after the cup win last season and I hope we can meet these and make the fans happy."
