Faithfold are joint-top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One. Strikes from Joel Nathan (2), Darren Gurner (2) Russell Rich and Nick Davis helped them go top by virtue of goals scored after they thumped Hendon Harriers 6-1.
Brady Maccabi A leapfrogged title rivals North London Raiders with an impressive 5-1 victory. Mark Wagman (4) and Scott Ansher getting the goals. Ilan Ovits netted Raiders’ consolation.
In Division Two, last year’s champions EDRS Stonegrove went down 3-1 to the new title favourites, Glenthorne United B. Three goals from Adam Lennard maintained Glenthorne’s 100 per cent record. Phil Silver replied for EDRS.
Second placed Brady B suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat at the hands of Temple Fortune, for whom Robert Botkai (2) and Graham Meyer earned the points.
