Lining up against opponents from France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, this year’s event hosted more than 800 footballers and a crowd of more than 1,800 on the day.
The current MLL U10s, who were finalists in the WFL cup earlier in the season, experienced a sporting and cultural weekend with Jews from across the world. Manager Adam Bloch said: “Making kiddush on Friday night surrounded by the team and family was a notable high point and a definite improvement on my usual teamtalks”.
Other highlights included a team tour of the Johann Cruyff Arena and a private viewing of Anne Frank’s House.
The tournament - in its 40th year - saw MLL 10s and MLL 11s made it to the U11 finals. Experience overcame youth, with the U11s winning.
