Manchester Maccabi boss Martin Simons praised his team after they set up a quarter-final clash against Brady Maccabi A following an impressive 2-0 win over a Faithfold team who saw their quadruple hopes derailed.

Strikes fromAshley Loofe and Adam Stevens saw Maccabi become the third northern team to book their place in the last eight of the Jewish FA Cup, and Simons says his troops are relishing taking on another JC MSFL Premier Division team in the coming weeks.

"It was an excellent team performance," Simons told JC Sport. "We were competitive and organised without creating many clear-cut chances against another hard-working team.
