After two league defeats in a row, Los Blancos bounced back in some style.

Joel Minsky's men enjoyed all the early possesion and were rewarded when Sami Birnbaum seized on a losse ball in the box to fire into the corner.

The lead was doubled when Danny Kon finished well follwing a fine Blancos move.

Raiders replied against the run of play, but further strikes from Birnbaum and Kon meant Minsky's men went in 4-1 up at the break.

The fifth goal was a beauty. Kon picked the ball up on the left, cut inside and curled a stunning 25 yard strike right under the angle of the far top corner.

Raiders got their second goal, with their second shot, when Joe Newton found himself through on goal. Captain Greenberg confidently put away a penalty before centre back Adam Cohen showed he is more than a rock at the back. He watched the ball drop from a height 15 yards out before unleashing a volley that could have ripped a hole in the top corner net. The rout was complete.

Blancos deserved this victory that nicely sets up next weeks sunday soccer special against Glenthorne Utd B
