London Maccabi Lions Under 15's became the first Jewish side ever to win the top division of the Watford Friendly League.
The team, which contains many of the participants for this summer's European Maccabi Games, lost the first two games of their first season in the top division, but then embarked on a remarkable run which saw them remain undefeated in 12 league games.
Strikes from David Seitler, Taylor Gershon and Oli Donne helped the Lions complete their task with a 3-0 win over rivals Chorleywood to win the title for the first time in their history.
Manager Matt Travers said: "To win any league is always an achievement in itself, but to win the top division of the Watford Friendly League in our first season it astonishing.
"The boys have given 100 per cent in every game and they deserve all the credit they are getting.
"This victory demonstrates the improvements in Jewish football and that is down to the commitment and dedication of clubs like London Lions."
