PETER MORRISON TROPHY ROUND TWO
MANCHESTER MACCABI 2nd 1 MANCHESTER MACCABI 5

A brilliant brace from Alex Lee ensured Maccabi 1st maintained inter-club bragging rights, with a 5-1 victory over their second string confirming their place in round three of the Jewish FA Cup.

Another Sunday and the first chance both Maccabi teams to kick on in the Peter Morrison. With not only a place in the next round at stake, it was always going to be a tasty encounter.

Both managers had warned before the game not to play the occasion but to concentrate on their game. Within the first five minutes it was evident that the occasion was perhaps getting to some of the players on both teams with a few heated exchanges and sloppy football to match.
