NOMINATIONS
MACCABI LONDON FC RED
Tyler Gordon (defence) - 16-year-old marshalled the defence superbly and was a rock the whole game
Ethan Myers (midfield) - 16-year-old was a little maestro in the middle of the park who did not let the more experience NLG team any room to play their normal flowing
football
--------------
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE
Josh Joseph (midfield) - 3 goals , 3 assists, light work for JJ. The JC star man from this week's preview delivered!
Niv Gur (striker) - 3 goals for our Israeli international, that's 5 in his last 2 games. Hitting form at the right time
Daniel Wexler (striker) - 2 goals, including probably his first header ever , 3 assists - all round display from Wex
Ben Nathan (striker) - 2 goals, 5 assists, his first goals for Redbridge since the age of 14 - could have had five were it not for the crossbar. Constant menace throughout
--------------
BROOK FARM ROVERS
Ben Pollins (GK) – our No.1, made a brilliant point-blank save in the first half, dealt with every high ball and cross that came his way and ended up with a deserved clean sheet
--------------
JEWDINESE
Ben Halmer (GK) - was excellent again. He made some unbelievable saves and without him the score could’ve been embarrassing against MLFC Blue
--------------
HMH
Max Foster (defence) - another awesome display in central defence
Josh Goldstein (defence) - anyone who keeps Liron Mannie out the game deserves to be on the list
George Goldberg (midfield) - tormented Raiders defence
Alex Moss (midfield) - controlled the midfield
--------------
MILL HILL DONS
Isaac Virchis (centre-mid) - scored a hat-trick in the first half and then moved to centre-back in the second half, solidifying the defence. He was a danger every time he got the ball, unplayable especially in the first half
Adam Isaacs (centre-mid) - had his best game of the season so far and he did it while not playing in his natural position. He covered a huge amount of ground and often proved to be the link between defence and attack when on the counter. He didn’t put a foot wrong today
Jordan Rinsler (right-back) - extremely solid throughout, Jordan showed what he was able to do going forward today. His inch-perfect ball in the first half unlocked the defence and found Virchis right in front of goal. He was a calming presence on the ball throughout
Sam Demby (left-back) - Demby brought out all the tricks and flicks today. He wasn’t afraid to charge forward and take on the Scrabble full-back, getting the better of him on several occassions with nutmugs, dummys and just pure skill and aggression. He did let the opposition winger get past him all day
--------------
HENDON UNITED SPORTS
Zack Lewis (striker) – 4 goals, had the NWLB defenders on skates for most of the game with his trickery and quick feet. Scored a brilliant header and an even better free-kick
Jonny Kay (midfield) – brilliant performance in the middle, won every loose ball and has the super ability of being in the right place every time to sweep up in front of the defence
Moses Seitler (CAM) – had a great game in the no. 10 and then at full-back – Positive driving runs through the middle and unlucky not to get more than his one goal
Josh Harris (midfield) – another game another top performance. Showing superb consistency now he’s playing regularly in the centre of midfield
--------------
FC TEAM
Josh Morris (defence) – nearly back to his best two goals and an assist from right back
Jonny Haik (striker) – strong debut, goal and decent overall play
--------------
HERTSWOOD VALE
Adam Zaidman (GK) – pulled off 2 or 3 world-class saves in the match, as he looked to thwart a Chigwell attack containing Daniel Garfinkle at every possible occasion. His finger-tip save onto the crossbar was the pick of the bunch. Claimed an assist with his outstanding distribution
Alex Trup (centre-back) – although the attackers will get their share of the plaudits, Alex deserves his too. He was outstanding today in the centre of defence, giving the Chigwell attackers very little to work with through the 90 minutes. Unlucky not to come away with a clean sheet
Jordan Harris (left-back) – after a slow start to the season due to a number of injuries, this was one of Jordan’s best performances in a Vale shirt to date. His delivery was outstanding throughout and offered up two assists to the cause
Josh Gorb (CAM) – Wow Josh Gorb. 1 goal, and 3 assists doesn’t tell the full story. Was an absolute nightmare for the Chigwell defenders throughout, and capped off an incredible all-round performance with our best team goal of the season, finishing from the edge of the box with a precision finesse which left the Chigwell keeper with no chance. He’s hitting serious form at the right time
James Millet (centre-mid) – another 10/10 performance in which he became the first Vale player to grab four goals in a match. His third hat-trick of the season, and his 13th goal in his first six games. At this rate, we’re going to struggle to keep Hendon from making a mid-season bid for our little magician! A quality captain’s performance throughout
Harry Graham (striker) – his first brace of the season, and he took his goals well. His second goal was a thing of beauty, and had it not been for some dubious offside decisions, could easily have bagged a hat-trick. Working hard to impress, and this hasn’t gone unnoticed
