As Yossi Benayoun turns 33 on Sunday, the Israeli captain has confirmed he will not be renewing his contract with Chelsea in the summer.

He said: "If I wanted to stay perhaps I could, but I'm looking for a team where I can express myself more.

"Agents are talking about offers from America, Spain, Russia and England, but there’s nothing concrete at the moment."

Benayoun is set to complete eight seasons in England, having joined West Ham from Racing Santander in 2005, moving to Liverpool in 2007 and Chelsea in 2010. He has been plagued by injury at Stamford Bridge making only 22 appearances, 12 of them since January, and he was loaned to Arsenal last season and West Ham in the first months of this season.
