Uefa Champions League third qualifying round second leg
Neftci 2
Hapoel Kiryat Shmona 2
Hapoel win 6-2 on aggregate
Hapoel Kiryat Shmona secured their place in the Champions League play-offs following a hard-fought battle against Neftci.
Leading 4-0 from last week’s first leg, Hapoel grabbed a 91st minute equaliser to claim a 2-2 draw and leave them dreaming of the Group Stage.
The Israeli champions are just two games away from a potential dream date with the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid following their latest triumph.
Barakh Badash and Laszlo Lencse were both on target for the visitors after they came from behind on two separate occasions to force the draw.
Gil Landau’s men, who won their first ever league title last season, will find out their fate in Friday's draw in Nyon.
They will play the first leg on either August 21 or 22 with the return contest the following week.
