MGBSFL DIVISION THREE
FAITHFOLD C 2 KING CROWN 4

King Crown boss Jacob Kadoch expressed great "pride" after his team claimed their first-ever victory in the Maccabi League, beating an experienced Faithfold C team 4-2.

Thumped 9-1 by L'Equipe last weekend, Kadoch had the luxury of full-strength squad for the trip to Chase Lodge, and what a difference that made. They flew out of the traps and forged ahead after 15 minutes when Marc Posner delivered a great cross, Daniel Cohen dummied it for Daniel Elghanian at the back post to hit it low and hard past the keeper.

King Crown doubled their lead midway through first half when Cohen won a free-kick edge of the box. Benji Greenblatt curled home a delicious effort into the top left corner, with Faithfold's stand-in keeper David Garson rooted on the spot.
