Avram Grant has stepped down as manager of Partizan Belgrade after just five months in the hotseat.

The Israel steered the team to the Serbian Premier League title but his agent, Pini Zahavi, revealed that he is leaving the club despite signing an 18-month contract in January.

“Grant has had other offers and I recommended that he leave," said Zahavi.

The former Chelsea, Portsmouth and West Ham boss has repeatedly said that he wants to return to English football.
