Zack Gothelf is adamant his Oakhill side can still catch runaway MJSL league leaders Haroldeans.
The Lions roared to a convincing 4-0 win over Leeds Maccabi 3rd on Sunday and have been in red-hot form in recent weeks.
Oakhill are 13 points behind Haroldeans with a game in hand but still have to face Ivan Gee’s side once again this season.
And Gothelf says his team aren’t giving up the chase for the title just yet – despite the huge gap at the top.
“There’s no way we’re giving up,” said Gothelf.
“We’re playing really well and once we’ve played our game in hand then we’ll see where we are.
“But there’s a lot of games to go and anything can happen.
“I’m just thrilled with the boys because we’ve got our best team together now and we’ve got players who can come off the bench and make an impact.
“If we could have started the season at the same time as everybody else, then I’m sure we would be up there.”
