Avram Grant insists his Ghana players will battle until the end of their World Cup qualifying campaign after losing 2-0 in Egypt.

Grant, who is Israeli, defied the advice of Mossad agents not to travel to Egypt following threats from fans and flew to Alexandria for last Sunday's match.

While his three personal bodyguards successfully protected him, they were unable to help on the pitch where Ghana dominated but were caught twice on the break as Mohamed Salah and Abdallah El-Said scored the goals.

Grant will leave his post with after the African Cup of Nations at the start of 2017. However, he is confident the Black Stars can reach Russia despite taking only one point from two games.
