Darryl Lee and Adam Solomons have resigned from their posts on the GB Maccabiah and European Organising Committee.
Lee was chairman and Solomons vice-chairman of both the European and Maccabiah Games GB football teams as well as for the Pan American and Australia Games. Appointed last November, the pair stepped down due to work commitments, although Lee will remain on the Maccabiah Organising Committee in an advisory capacity.
Martin Berliner, Chief Executive of Maccabi GB said: "Darryl and Adam completed a very tough part of the job on appointing managers and coaches for all football squads. We're not looking for replacements for either role for next year's European Maccabi Games. We will review the situation after Vienna."
Lee said: "These are very difficult times in the property industry and work had to take precedence. It doesn't mean that I won't be involved again in the future but certainly not for the foreseeable future.
"During the interview process, we met more than 30 people, which was very time-consuming. I believe that we have selected a very strong group of managers and coaches. It took a lot of time to make the decisions and I wish them all the best."
Berliner said: "As far as the football and style of play is concerned, our senior management team of Jonathan Green and Daniel Collins will be responsible for speaking to the group."
