In the Maccabi Masters League Division 1, Glenthorne United A dealt North London Raiders’ title chances a hammer blow with a 4-3 win thanks to goals from Jason Levy (3) and Sid Shaw. Kevin Lotzof (2) and Neville Roach replied for Raiders.

And having been unbeaten up to the point of winning the Division 2 title a fortnight ago, Clayhall A lost for the second successive weekend, going down 3-1 to Pel City. Perry Somers (2) and Ashley Marks gave Pel the spoils, whilst Clayhall’s solitary response came from a Brian Deal penalty.

Ashlodge beat Brady Maccabi B 3-1 through an own goal and a brace from Phil Mayer, with Martin Schultz replying for Brady.

Glenthorne B came from behind to beat Temple Fortune B 6-4 with goals from Ray Russell (2), John Diamond (2), Fara and Alan Lee.

Next Sunday sees the final of this year's Henry Swerner MMFL Cup, sponsored by Tux'n'Tails. The match sees Glenthorne United A take on South Mancunians. Kick off is at 5.00pm at Gosling Stadium, Welwyn. Entrance is free.
