Brady FC claimed their first win – and points – of the season as goals from Sam Fresco, Guy Nehushtan, Zack Cohen and Joe Shaw helped them to a 5-0 win at Brook Farm Rovers. Manager Ricky Ansher said: “It’s taken some time for things to click together, but it was an all-round quality performance from all 16 boys today.”
Sukkotingham Forest increased their lead at the top of the Division Two table to eight points – winning their sixth consecutive league match – as a hat-trick from Eytan Millan inspired them to a 5-0 win over HMH Camden. Toby Anthony and Jonah Hirschel scored their other two, with manager Sam Nagioff saying: “It was another dominant performance as we continued our perfect run as we broke down and dominated a very solid side.”
Bochar Juniors claimed an impressive 7-1 win over Mill Hill Minyan thanks in no small part to two goals from Amichai Lehrer. Eliezer Levene, Mordy Grossberg, Solly Levy, David Amor and Chaim Samet were also all on target. Manager Joel Ucko said: “The boys executed the gameplan to perfection in what was an outstanding performance from the whole team. The task now is to take this momentum forward into our next game.” The other game in the division saw Beitar Bushey and Rapid Viennas play out a 2-2 draw, the latter salvaging a point with two injury time strikes from Jack Miller and Max Astons headers.
The top two in the Maccabi Masters Football League recorded emphatic wins at the top of the table. Maccabi London Lions remain six points clear at the summit as a Gideon Barnett hat-trick helped them on their way to a 7-0 win over St John’s Wood Tigers. Danny Reuben’s double plus Darren Dryer and Tony Gold strikes completed the scoring.
Scrabble remain their nearest challengers as they thrashed Hendon Harriers 10-3. Jonny Isaccs scored four, with Jamie Kaye and Tony Plaskow both scoring hat-tricks. Gavin Sherman scored twice for Harriers, with Adam Greenblatt claiming their third direct from a corner.
