Neasden boosted promotion hopes with a five-star win in an incident-packed contest against the Cats, courtesy of strikes from Oli Joseph, Aron Lewis, Louis Taylor (2) and Tony Chadwick in match the visitors finished with nine men after two red cards.
They forged ahead with an excellent finish from the impressive Oli Joseph, who was put through by a great chipped pass from Chadwick
NWN had other chances to score, notably Louis Taylor who went through one-on-one only to screw his effort wide.
Catford equalised right before half time with a free kick from 18 yards.
At half time, Taylor told his team that if we continued to play the football we had in the first 20 minutes, he chances would come and they just had to take them
NWN went 2-1 up after a thunderbolt from Matt Davis hit the underside of the bar. Aron Lewis was there to put in the rebound, skilfully heading it with his nose, on to his foot and into the net.
The third goal was a great team move, starting with Taylor who laid it off to Joseph. He found Richie Braham down the right who played a slide rule cross on the ground for Taylor to fire home.
Catford got back into the game after an inexplicable back pass from an unnamed Neasden player to make it 3-2, it was game on.
After withstanding some pressure from a game Catford team, Neasden scored again with Joseph holding the ball up brilliantly, flicking on toTaylor to flick past the keeper for his second of the game.
Catford were reduced to 10 men after an ugly confrontation in front of the nose of league chairman David Wolff. Taylor told JC Sport: "The Catford player raised his hands twice, and I don't think the referee had any choice but to send off Catford's best player."
The final goal of the game came after a throughball from Braham found Taylor down the right, he crossed for Chadwick who skilfully picked his spot from outside the area, cunningly using his toe to confuse the keeper and slotting into the corner.
Catford later had another player sent off for two yellow cards - an ill tempered end to a game that Neasden deservedly won.
Jonny Lee and Jamie Sinai registered for Catford who had Jonny Lee and Jonny Bord sent off.
Cats joint-manager Adam Lewis told JC Sport: "It was a shocking game on a shocking pitch. It was a complete farce."
Taylor responded: "I'd love to know what part of the game he (Adam Lewis) thought was a farce? I have played on many a worse pitch than that!"
