Here are the star men from Matchday 2 of the MGBSFL season.
1. DAVID SIMNOCK (Norstar London Raiders B) - "pulled out some top draw saves" against Brady
2. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "magnificent at both right back and left back endless energy up and down both flanks"
3. RICKY ZEIDERMAN (London Rovers) - rock solid, didn't put a foot wrong against Shacharit Donetsk
4. MITCH GREEN (Blizzard Storm) - "superb, two good goals and a solid performance against Bilbaum, taking it on himself to join in on the attacks and change the game, top draw. Without doubt man if the match. Built like a brick. Hard to break down and goes and scores two goals"
5. JOSH BARNETT (Faithfold B) - star man in the win over KS. "Led by example"
6. NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC B) - "our loss is Nottingham University’s gain. His ability in the air and with the ball at his feet is simply overwhelming for the opposition"
7. KANE HOPPS (Redbridge JC A) - "filled in brilliantly as a last-minute starter" against Oakwood
8. JONNY KAY (NL Raiders A) - "continued the way he finished last season. Dictated the tempo of the game and was the best player on the pitch"
9. BEN BINDER (FC Team B) - "three wonderful goals" against Mill Hill - outstanding"
10. JOHNNY HAIK (Faithfold A) - hat-trick hero inspired the comeback against Team
11. CHAIM GOTHOLD (Los Blancos) - "a superb first goal for the club, and completed his brace with a cool finish - in both instances running half the length of pitch to put the ball in the net. His footwork and control of the game when the ball was at his feet caused SPEC issues all morning"
