There was a record number of nominations on Matchday Six of the MGBSFL. Here are the stars of the show
1. YAACOV GOLDIN (Hendon United Sports Club C) - "mopped everything up, made some cruical saves leading to his first clean sheet of the season. Captaining the Hendon C boys to their first win of the season! Was vocal and kept the game ticking, his kicks were causing havoc for the opposition defence"
2. RYAN KANGISSER (Catford & Bromley Maccabi) - "MOM on land and in air kept Fortune at bay through the second half, didn't put a foot wrong, was commanding and strong"
3. JUSTIN SPIRO (Norstar London Raiders A) - "man-of-the-match display against his former club, including a pinpoint cross for Raiders’ first goal"
4. ADAM SHAFRON (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - "stopped everything that Lions tried to get through. A rock at the back"
5. MATT SOFIER (Brady Maccabi A) "helps the young kids around him so much" against Oakwood A. A calming influence
6. SIMON BUCHLER (Norstar London Raiders B) - "a shoo-in for ToTW for a superb all-round midfield display, winning the ball, almost 100 per cent pass completion and a goal at the end of an 88th minute lungbusting run to get on the end of a Josh Green cross"
7. SIMON MOSES Maccabi B) - "absolute beast in the centre of the park against Shirley. A very Yaya Toure-esque performance. Defensively solid and a steam train going forward"
8. NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - "MOM against FC Team C, simply unplayable in the second half and two goals were his reward"
9. MITCH HAHN (Woodford Wanderers) - a four-goal hero in the 9-1 demolition of Hendon B
10. AVIDAN LAST (Hendon United Sports Club A) - "two excellent predatory finishes including last minute winner" against FC Team A
11. RICHARD FOGELMAN (L’Equipe) - "will receive all the plaudits again following his sensational four-goal showing against Faithfold C", was on fire, "feed the foge and he will score!"
