Josh Cohen (Los Blancos) - “as put forward by opposing manager Simon Linden, Josh was everywhere today. It was a scrappy affair on a poor pitch which made both goalies lives harder than normal, but Josh was in true command of his area and cleared up anything that came his way. By no means at fault for Blizzard's goal, JC's box was peppered with crosses for the remaining 25 minutes as we held on to our lead, but not once did he look like conceding again. He pulled off a superb one handed save, tipping a ball destined for the top corner over the bar in the closing stages”
Matt Geppert (Glenthorne United A) - a rock at the back against UJIA
Julian Gertner (Los Blancos) - “LBs most consistent performer this season,
Julian put in his best performance (against Blizzard) when it was most needed. He was as
solid as ever at the back, completely neutralising Blizzard’s threat down the right, which early on appeared to be their biggest threat. Julian was also at the heart of most of our moves going forward, showing his pace, stamina and football mind as he took on the role as the overlapping full-back. As the game wore on and as Blizzard started to push for an
equaliser, Julian really started to exert his quality on the game, proving both an unmovable force for the Blizzard wingers to contend with, and a great attacking outlet as we countered on the break as the game stretched”
Paul Bentley (Hendon A) - “a dominating all-round defensive display topped off with two goals”
Matt Greene (NL Raiders C) - “one goal and one assist from the defender. You can't ask for more then that”
Eddie Manson (Oakwood) - “dominated the game and scored a cracking goal”
Michael Witzenfeld (Chigwell Athletic) - “ran that game from start to finish”
Dan Lowen (HMZ) - “dominated the centre of midfield in the second half that created the platform and possession for HMZ to win the game”
Josh Rubin (Oakwood) - “was fantastic on debut scoring twice”
David Dinkin (NL Raiders B) - “scored two and made one but the most impressive part to his game was his willingness to help defend and run all day when down to 10 men. A colossal performance”
Sam Arghebant (London Maccabi Lions A) - “head and shoulders the star of the show for us”
