The summer months are traditionally the busiest time for teams to plan ahead and boost their squads for the new season.
* Several MGBSFL clubs are in the hunt for Aaron Zucker, one of Germany's best players at the EMFT. GB and NLR boss Dan Shafron is believed to be in the market for the player who is moving to London in September. Hendon United are also believed to be putting together a bid the player "won't be able to refuse". We understand this involves dinner at La Fiesta and a shakshuka before every match.
* GB’s assistant manager at the EMFT and former Real Sosobad starlet Josh Hambling is trying to force a move to Scrabble. A source close to him has said: "Hambo wants to prove that he is more than just a person who can eat a lot of cake and crack witty jokes. He feels he can cut it on the pitch with the Division Two champions."
* NLR marksman David Dinkin is top of Scrabble FC's wish-list, but Jason Stein has confirmed to JC Sport that Oakwood B have offered the former Lions man a contract and an official approach has been made.
* Brady boss Josh Dagul says it would take a Hendon United “a ridiculous offer” to register striker Michael Kenley.
* Dagul has also issued a “hands-off warning” following interest in Golden Boot winner Reiss Mogilner.
* Scrabble FC are in the market for five players, with Athletic Bilbaum’s Josh Pugh and free agent Josh Bharier reportedly top of the list.
* Scrabble are in contention to make the shock signings of Rob Blackman, formerly of Harmen and Daniel Garfinkle currently of Redbridge as they are both interested in the possibility of playing with their EMFT teammates, such as Elliot Espinoza, Zac Mcleod and transfer targets Josh Pugh and Josh Bharier.
* Highly-rated NLR defender Jake Yudelowitz looks set to stay with the club as they are "the best option at the moment".
* New Temple Fortune joint-manager Simon Linden wants to sign Oakwood goalkeeper Jonny Blain.
* Joel Barnett, formerly FC Team A, Avishai Kestenbaum of Hendon A and NLR's Elliot Moslawy are set to be at the forefront of the new 'Nick Grosse Revolution' at Los Blancos.
* Dan Cohen has not declared his availability for the new season but JC Sport understands approaches have been made from teams in all three divisions.
* There are signgs that NLR C star defender Jake Yudelowitz could follow Josh Bloom to Lions. Responding to rumours that Raiders could drop to two teams next season, a source close to the player confirmed the defender "would consider a move even after three years at the club due to the uncertainty or to play at a higher level". For the same reasons, goalkeeper Grant Waissel may also be looking to move on following strong EMFT football and futsal campaign.
* Maccabi London Lions B have been linked with a sensational coup for former player of the year Liron Mannie of North London Raiders.
* Redbirdge Jewish Care are considering a major over-haul and bring in Austin Lipman from London Lions, along with Adam Shafron from Woodford, Sam McCarthy of Real Sosobad, Daniel Lee from Woodford, Daniel Orgel from Real Sosobad, and Hendon United duo Dovi Feher and Zac Lewis.
* Daniel Garfinkle is close to signing a bumper five-year deal with Redbridge Jewish Care.
There are also reports of two possible mergers. The word on the street is that Harmen could link-up with Maccabi London Lions, while Real Sosobad could be adopted as Redbridge Jewish Care's C team.
There are strong rumours that the management of L'equipe will pull out all the stops to sign the Hershman brothers from SPEC FC. With the support of James Mandell and a long-standing footballing relationship between manager Nick Stern and both the Hershman brothers, L'Equipe are confident of pulling off the move. L'Equipe are prepared to offer a "phenomenal deal," with the freedom of West Hendon on the table along with cash, bagels or anything that is requested.
