Many teams have folded like a deck of cards when faced with the prospect of a visit to Rowley Lane. But not Hendon United Sports Club B, and most certainly not their manager, Adam Glekin.

After seeing the reds hit the Lions for six, he told JC Sport: "I think most of our lads are relieved whenever we have an away game at the moment, our pitch is a shambles and it was nice to be able to string some passes together on a quality surface at Rowley Lane."

Perhaps they should move home games to Wembley!

- DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - "One final word - we scored a goal today when the ball hit the wire in open play across the 3G pitch and fell kindly to Avishai Kestenbaum who scored - it was bad luck on FC Team but those were the rules and we had to carry on in a professional way - just one of those things and they took it very well on the chin so well done to them for that"

- RIC BLANK (Oakwood A) - "I'm just glad Tony Gold wasn't there - or he'd have been trying to sign even more of my players after just 20 minutes"

- JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - "Full credit to Whetstone. They're a nice set of lads. Mill Hill and Jewdinese would have you think we're a bunch of thugs, we're anything but and I really enjoyed parts of this match"
