Although February was something of a stop-start month for players in the JC MSFL, two individuals stood out for me.

JC PLAYER OF THE MONTH
Nick Landesberg (London Maccabi Lions A) – it’s been quite some month for the Lions and young Nick Landesberg. Since his father took charge of the team, he had no hesitation throwing his son into the deep end and he hasn’t looked back. Nick was outstanding in defence against Oakwood A and he was described as a “collusus and dominant force” against Redbridge team containing the ever-dangerous Adam Stolerman and Steve Summers.

JC MANAGER OF THE MONTH
Josh Marks (Camden Park) – man of the moment Josh Marks has propelled Camden Park to the cusp of big things. He has worked wonders in a short space of time with a young, hungry, well-disciplined and talented squad. A vital 2-1 win at Southgate Harmen was followed by a hugely impressive victory over Liverpool Haroldeans to reach the last eight of the Peter Morrison Trophy. It gets better, last Sunday they came from behind to thump Division One leaders Shirley Park 5-2. Marks has described the next three weeks as “season defining”. The treble is still on and Marks deserves a thumbs-up.
