There's simply no stopping this MGBSFL Division One master-class.
1. BEN ROSENTHAL (Woodford Wanderers) - "The best GK in all of MGBSFL," according to Tony Charles. " At 6ft 5in, Ben commands his penalty area with strong authority. A 'calming' influence on the rest of the team and always demanding the best from his defenders, Ben has continued to strike fear into any opposing player".
2. PAUL HIZER (Chigwell Athletic) - "Has finally fulfilled his full potential now he's got his head down and stopped acting the fool. On this season's performance in my opinion he's one of the best centre-backs in the MSFL".
3. SCOTT MCKENZIE (North West Neasden) - "has gone from strength to strength good in the air, tackles well pace and a great attitude".
4. JEROME MARKS (Woodford Wanderers) - One of many players that Tony Charles changed position. Playing centre half this season, "he has been nothing short of tremendous. Whilst not the tallest member of our squad Jerome rarely gets beaten in the air and never gets beaten on the floor. Jerome is coolness personified".
5. BRAD GAYER (Chigwell Athletic) - "another one who's technically a class above, and has shown it a lot more this season. Some superb performances"
6. BEN WEINBERG (Southgate Harmen) - "the heartbeat of the team this season and would not look out of place at any team in the MGBSFL leagues. One of the smallest in the team, but would always win headers and was impossible to shake off the ball when at his feet. Regularly praised by opposition managers, players and supporters for his ability to hold onto the ball. Never afraid to put in a tackle and probably had an interception rate of close to 100 per cent".
7. ROB CAPLIN (NW Neasden) - "age 43, Caplin has played all across the back-line, has stepped in whenever some dropped out and did so well I had to find a place for him, a great example to all players on how to conduct yourself"
8. JONO GAON (Los Blancos) - scored almost half his team's goals in the league this season. Excellent pace and movement saw him terrorise defences and enable his team to finish just outside the top three. Don't be surprised if one of the big boys come in for him over the summer.
9. HARRISON MIDDA (Woodford Wanderers) - "Opposing teams rarely bother to look out for Harrison, but when they realise they need to, it's too late. Missed five games through injury and returned to score a nine minute hat-trick against a team tipped for promotion. Harrison is a tremendous member of our squad and could easily play at a higher level".
10. MITCH HAHN (Woodford Wanderers) - "“Every opposing player wants to be like Mitch, but they can’t, so they try to kick him instead,” said Woodford boss Tony Charles. Mitch scored the best goal Charles “has ever seen live” and also managed to score from the halfway line, whilst goading the opposing team. Technically great and a valuable member of his team."
11. SAM CASTLE (Southgate Harmen) - "a player you would want on a team rather than against you (but as a manager a pain in the ….to work with!). Top=scorer for the club, you know that if the ball is put into the box, Sam will throw himself around to be the first to get his head on it. Some would call him 'a lump'. Also useful with his feet and found the net from outside the box on more than one occasion. Filled in once at his least favourite but best position of goalkeeper and was faultless"
