Mitch Young praised his players after FC Team B were confirmed champions of MGBSFL Division Two.

FC Team C's 4-3 defeat at Norstar London Raiders C ensured that Young's troops won the title with a game to spare.

Young told JC Sport: "I would like to congratulate all my players and everyone involved at the club in delivering our first title in six years.

"We have achieved various promotions, but the whole aim of the club restructure at the start of the season was to deliver silverware and I am delighted we have achieved it."

FC Team B opened their Barry Goldstein Trophy account with a 4-2 victory over Maccabi London Lions Green

Young added: "My players have been so consistent and it is thoroughly deserved and now we hope to finish off the season by getting to at least one cup final and trying to bring home more silverware for the club.

"Congratulations must go to our sponsors, Guardian Inheritance, and to AC Mill Hill, and in particular our C Team who are the only team to beat us this season, and I am sure if they had a fully fit team week in week out it would have been even closer."

"I hope now for a FC Team one-two finish and good luck to Gordy and the C's."
