Alan Aaronson has played down fears of Brixton Old Boys folding after they were forced to forfeit for the second time this season.
Last week the MGBSFL saw London Rovers collapse and there were concerns that Brixton would be next to go, but manager Alan Aaronson was keen to set the record straight.
He told JC Sport: "There are some rumours surrounding our clubs re pulling out of the League due to a thin squad. This is simply not the case.
"We did have a small squad due to a few players opting for Masters League action at the last minute, around the start of the season. We wish them well.
"However, we have replenished numbers and now have a very decent squad in terms of quantity and quality.
"We were obliged to pull out of the CA Cup on Sunday because player registration for the CA Cup must take place 2 weeks before a fixture. We had a rush of players only seven to 10 days ago during our recruitment drive. Thus, many had missed that registration deadline for this Cup. However they all set to play for the League.
"Brixton OB look forward to remaining the in the league and I believe we are the oldest club in the League."
