Maccabi London Brady Sports Ground has gained planning permission for six new floodlights and a brand new stand around their award-winning main pitch at Rowley Lane.

The move will allow the Arkley-based multi-sports facility, which is the home of London Maccabi Lions and Brady Maccabi Football Clubs, to host matches during the early evening winter months.

The venue, which also facilitates the Maccabi GB’s Maccabiah football teams prior to major international tournaments, will now be able to host major community football events, including representative matches and end-of-season Maccabi League and National Cup finals.

Maccabi London Brady chairman David Kyte said: "We are absolutely delighted and excited that planning permission has been received and it continues to demonstrate our commitment to develop the site as 'the Jewish National Sport and Community Centre'.
