Football FIFA President Sepp Blatter will visit Israel and the West Bank later this month.
Blatter will travel to Jordan on October 25 together with Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon and the former US Olympic athlete Ed Moses.
They will visit Ramallah in the West Bank the next day to watch a friendly international between Palestine and Jordan before travelling to Tel Aviv to take part in the tenth anniversary celebrations of the establishment of the Peres Center for Peace.
Blatter has invited Israel FA Chairman Avi Luzon and Director General Uri Shilo to attend the Palestine-Jordan match in Ramallah. The Israeli officials are inclined to accept the invitation and have sought permission from the Israeli security authorities to travel to the West Bank city.
