Danny Berg, coach of Redbridge Jewish Care A, praised the star qualities of striker Daran Bern whose hat-trick boosted the leaders' title charge in a 5-1 demolition of nearest rivals Faithfold A.
Berg, who is also the MSFL Rep Team manager, praised Bern for his all-round performance as the Essex giants ripped apart their north London opponents in a stunning second half display at Fairlop.
Leading 1-0 at half time, Bern took the game by the scruff of the neck with the visitors unable to live with his pace. He has now joined North London Raiders striker Jacob Gold at the top of the Premier Division goal charts on nine.
"We had a game-plan and stuck to it," said Berg. "All 14 players executed the game-plan to perfection. Everyone worked hard for each other and then our football and clinical finishing was the difference. If you catch us on our day then no one can live with us.
"Berny is on fire at the moment. He's not just a great finisher but he works so hard for the team. Our aim is to win every single game we have left this season, we need to keep working hard and our rewards will come."
Paul Babai fired a consolation for Faithfold 10 minutes from time but Bern had the final say with Redbridge's fifth.
Faithfold manager Zuriel Solomon said: "The boys are lacking some confidence at the moment which is a bit baffling as titles are not won in November. We will regroup and get things right. Redbridge were up for it and we didn't get out of the starting blocks buts it's done now and we will keep working hard."
